James is one of those artists that never went to any collage or art school. He has no formal training what so ever. He simply does what he wants to do. His current favourite media is glass engraving some of which are displayed here on this site, indeed the background wallpaper is one of his engravings and no that isn't a negative image that is the actual glass engraving. With a love of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Art Deco, these form regular themes in his work.
